Jury Duty’s Ronald Gladden is the King of Instagram — The Latch

Jury Duty: A series with a *chef’s kiss* premise. In this programme, a fake trial in Los Angeles takes place. However, one of the 12 jurists doesn’t know that the trial isn’t real.

That’s right, one of the jurists is punk’d. And that jurist is Ronald Gladden, a solar panel installer. During the filming of Jury Duty, Gladden believed that he was a part of a real court case. Which is almost unreal, as this series is incredibly comedic. A lot of shenanigans take place around this man.

However,  there’s a lot of proof on Ronald Gladden’s Instagram that this man isn’t an actor. Between 2019 and 2021, Gladden posted over 30 solar panel pictures.

As Gladden wrote in 2019, “The deal is, when we hook you up with solar, you hook us up with that pool access.”

What’s more, Gladden wrote in 2021, “New week, new site, new panels that need saving.”

Yet, it’s worth noting that Gladden’s a dude with a sense of humour about his work. Here are some of his funniest solar panel posts:

And in 2023, more Instagram evidence merged. Since Jury Duty dropped, Gladden has made some posts that feel super authentic. 

On March 8, Gladden posted, “Last year, I had the craziest experience of my life, luckily, the cameras were rolling the whole time. Been keeping this a secret for a year, but can finally announce… Jury Duty.”
