The Summit Australia has taken the country by storm, and what’s not to love? Channel 9 sent 14 strangers to the snowy mountains of New Zealand, stashed a million dollars in cash in their backpacks, and told them to get hiking. With just 14 days to complete the trek, our Trekkers have had to make difficult decisions along the way. Some have dipped out, others have been cut loose by their peers. And soon enough, it’ll be time for The Summit Australia 2023 finale.
If you’ve been tuning in, you’ll know that this hike is no joke. Not only do they have to brace the elements, they’re also faced with challenges that force them to bid farewell to their fellow Trekkers. It’s kind of like The Bridge Australia, but on a mountain. Or like Australian Survivor, but with the added challenge of having to keep on climbing.
Already, we’ve said goodbye to several Trekkers, and we can’t wait to see how it all plays out. How many of the remaining contestants will make it to the peak? And more importantly, how much of the million dollar prize will be left for them to claim?
It’s a difficult challenge that calls for strategic thinking and tough decisions, but along the way, we’ve also seen real bonds form as the Trekkers have offered one another support and encouragement in their low moments.
We can’t wait to see how it all plays out, so here’s everything we know about The Summit Australia 2023 finale.
